This portal was developed as part of the Vocational Education and Training Development Project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The project was implemented in 2011 by a coalition including Save the Children and Mercy Corps, aiming to empower and diversify the skills of Palestinian youth. The portal was updated and enhanced during 2017/2018 with support from Mercy Corps and ROTA, while its functionality was developed by COOPI with support from the European Union. The portal targets vocational education and training institutions in the West Bank under the Association of Non-Governmental Vocational Education and Training Institutions. Its goal is to advance vocational education and training, enhance its capabilities, and increase opportunities for Palestinian youth in education, training, and employment. Additionally, it seeks to equip the labor market with productive young talents, thereby contributing to improved livelihoods for Palestinian youth.
